Qatar Saudi National Day
23 - 23 Sep 2024
Saudi National Day, celebrated annually on September 23, marks the proclamation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932 by King Abdulaziz, uniting the regions of Nejd and Hejaz under the House of Saud. Established as a public holiday in 1965 by King Faisal, and later formalized in 2005 by King Abdullah, it is one of three non-religious holidays in the country. The day is observed with traditional dances, songs, and festivities, as people decorate roads and buildings with Saudi flags and wear the national colors of green and white.
